Chat on Telegram
Telegram is the fastest way to chat with your agent from your phone. No new app to install, no new login, no new notification settings to configure — Telegram already handles all of that.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”We run a shared Telegram bot at @myagentplatform_bot. Each user pairs the bot with their account once, and then every message they send in that Telegram chat routes to their own agent.
Your messages are private. Our Telegram bot is just a message transport. It receives your message, looks up which agent it belongs to, forwards it to your private container, waits for the response, and sends it back. Nobody else sees your messages.
Connect in 3 steps
Section titled “Connect in 3 steps”- Open Telegram and find @myagentplatform_bot (or scan the QR code in the dashboard’s Integrations tab).
- Send the pairing code. In the dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → Telegram and click Get pairing code. You’ll see a 6-character code. Send that code as a message to the bot in Telegram.
- Done. The bot replies “Connected!” and your agent is now reachable via Telegram.
Using your agent from Telegram
Section titled “Using your agent from Telegram”Once paired, just type a message:
“Catch me up on my inbox”
“What’s my next meeting?”
“Draft a LinkedIn post about our product launch”
Your agent will respond in the same Telegram chat. Text, formatting, and even images work.
What Telegram supports
Section titled “What Telegram supports”| Feature | Works? |
|---|---|
| Text messages in either direction | Yes |
| Images (you → agent) | Yes |
| Voice messages (you → agent) | Transcribed automatically |
| Images (agent → you, e.g. charts) | Yes |
| Files (either direction) | Yes |
| Group chats | Not yet |
| Inline bots / buttons | For approvals (tap to approve/deny) |
Approvals via Telegram
Section titled “Approvals via Telegram”When your agent wants to do something that needs approval (send an email, post publicly, etc.), you’ll get a message with Approve and Deny inline buttons. Tap to respond. No need to open the dashboard.
Privacy on Telegram
Section titled “Privacy on Telegram”- We never read, store, or log the content of your Telegram messages on our side beyond what’s needed to route them to your agent
- Your Telegram user ID is stored (so we can route replies back to you) and encrypted
- We don’t have access to your Telegram account, contacts, or other chats
- You can unpair at any time from the dashboard (immediate) or by blocking our bot in Telegram (immediate)
Disconnecting
Section titled “Disconnecting”Settings → Integrations → Telegram → Disconnect. Your pairing is removed immediately. You can also type /unpair to the bot in Telegram, which has the same effect.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”“The bot isn’t responding” — Check status.myagentplatform.com for platform issues. If everything is up, try sending /start to the bot, which should re-establish the connection.
“Pairing code expired” — Codes are valid for 10 minutes. Go back to Settings → Integrations → Telegram and generate a new one.
“I blocked the bot by accident” — Unblock it in Telegram and re-send /start. You shouldn’t need to re-pair unless your account itself got disconnected.
