Referrals

Refer people to the platform. When they sign up using your referral link and convert to a paid plan, you each get $5 in credits applied to your next bill.

How it works

  1. Get your referral link from the Earn Free Credits card in Settings → Billing.
  2. Share it — by DM, email, social post, anywhere.
  3. Friend signs up through your link and starts a trial.
  4. Friend subscribes (Standard or Pro, doesn’t matter which).
  5. You both get $5 in credits automatically applied to your next invoice.

The specifics

  • Reward amount: $5.00 to you + $5.00 to them (both sides benefit)
  • Trigger event: the referred user’s first paid subscription, not just signing up
  • Delivery: credits appear in your account within 24 hours of the qualifying subscription
  • No limit on how many people you can refer
  • No expiration on earned credits

Go to Settings → Billing and find the Earn Free Credits card. Your personal link is displayed with a copy button, formatted like:

Copy it and paste wherever you want to share — DMs, email, social posts, Slack channels, anywhere.

How to track referrals

The Earn Free Credits card shows, at a glance:

  • Conversions — the number of people who signed up through your link AND converted to a paid plan
  • Earned — your total dollar value of credits earned from those conversions
  • Per referral — the reward you’ll get for each future conversion

We don’t surface a per-person history for privacy reasons — you see the aggregate counters, not individual signups. If you need a specific lookup (e.g., to confirm a particular friend’s credit was applied), email support with their email address and we’ll confirm.

Can I refer myself?

No. Signing up a second account using your own referral link doesn’t earn credits. We check for duplicate payment methods, duplicate IP ranges, and duplicate email patterns.

Can I refer people to a free trial only?

They can start a trial using your link, but you only earn the $5 credit if they convert to a paid plan. Trial-only signups don’t count.

Terms

Section titled “Terms”
  • One reward per referred user. You can’t earn $5 multiple times for the same person (e.g., if they cancel and re-subscribe).
  • Reward is credited to the account, not cashed out. Credits pay for usage. We don’t issue refunds for earned credits.
  • Fraud detection. If we detect abuse (sock puppets, bot signups, mass stolen credentials), we reserve the right to void the rewards. This rarely matters for normal users.

The practical upshot

Refer 6 people, and your monthly usage is essentially free on Standard tier ($5 credit × 6 = $30 ≈ one month of Standard). Refer 12 people and you’re ahead of the game for 2 months.
